Excellent beer - especially the Copacetic. Nice service and the place is pretty accessible, with a ramp to get into the bar. The locks are kind of high on the bathroom doors, though, and they were out of straws so we had to go to Mississippi Pizza down the road to pick one up. The bar's also a little high. I can vouch for the cheeseburgers being totally edible. The bus stop for the 4 line is right next to the place.

The food here is decent - the corn cakes are good and filling - but it's not very accessible. Getting to the bathroom in a wheelchair would be kind of a pain, and the aisles aren't especially wide.

Delicious, huge omelets. Condiment options included this amazing habanero sauce called Aardvark that's made locally in PDX. Spicy bloody marys. Staff was really nice, and the bathroom's pretty spacious. The aisles aren't huge, but were manageable.

MoreSt John's Theater
Didn't check out the restrooms, but there's a massive ramp that'll take you to the second-story screen. It's a little steep, but was doable. The entry door is a little heavy. The kids working behind the counter were pretty nice, and the pizza and beer (they have a couple Deschutes brews on tap) are good. There was an area for wheelchairs in the theater we were in that was flat.

I'm a fan. The place is pretty open and accessible, with varnished concrete floors, nice service, and art movies playing on the small vidscreen inside on nights.

Front of the bar is a bit narrow, but the bar and cocktails are good and the service is generally nice. Access to the bar is through a glass door connected to the Belmont Stumptown that can be slightly unwieldy. There's a lot of traffic that comes through it during the day, though.

Easy to get in; bathroom is in back and although you might have to ask people to move so you can scoot by in a wheelchair, there is an accessible toilet. The food is upscale bar food that goes well with their own brews, including Blue Heron Pale, which always goes down easy.

Cheap drinks and you gotta love shuffleboard, but it's supersmoky and the bathrooms are tiny.

Decent selection of draft beer and pub food, and you can win big every Thursday on trivia night, but bathrooms are a tight squeeze for wheelchairs.

Pluses: mozzarella sticks; dive-y. Minuses: entrance is wheelchair accessible, but the bathrooms aren't; the name Triple Nickel is false advertising - ain't nothin' in here for that cheap.

Bathroom is on the second floor - the elevator taking you up there is large enough to accommodate a few wheelchairs or a couple shopping carts.

Three stars for having, hands down, the best karaoke in PDX and cheap Chinese food. Unfortch, the bathroom are a little too narrow for great navigation, and the place can get intimidatingly crowded on weekends.

MoreBurgerville USA
In my experience, fast-food chains tend to be set up pretty much the same in terms of accessibility, and this Burgerville branch is no different. However, by supporting Burgerville over the usual suspects (McD's, etc.), you're supporting a NW-based business that sources largely from local farms. The way this particular restaurant's parking lot is set up is kind of a maze due to the drive-thru, but watch out for cars and you're good.

Get your hipster haircut served with a bottle o' High Life here. Read some hipster magazines while you wait. Easy access off Hawthorne, and accessible to wheelchairs, unlike its location off Alberta.

Cheap, decent drinks and beer + decent bar food + darkness = a good overall experience, if you can handle the smoke. There are a couple accessible bathrooms (both unisex, I believe). Despite the fact that there are smoking and nonsmoking areas, you'll probably come out smelling like Parliament Lights when you leave.
