Your Guide to Accessible Portland

About Us

Where’s Lulu is the hip, accessible guide to places and services. Providing information on everything from menu readability to bathroom accessibility, Where’s Lulu helps you decide where to go and what to do.

The Lulu Mission

We want to increase visibility in the disability community and establish higher standards of accessibility for businesses and public places in general. We believe strongly that diversity and equality are integral to a healthy, happy society. We aim to eliminate the stress and frustrations of trying to find accessible, fun venues so you can relax and connect with other people into the same things as you.

Lulu’s Founders

team

Best friends Caitlin “Lulu” Wood and Toshio Meronek founded Where’s Lulu way back in 2007, when you either had to hear about accessibility through word-of-mouth or call a place ahead of time (while often getting the wrong information). Finally there’s a trusted, reliable place online to find out for yourself.

Lulu lives in PDX, where she enjoys eating delicious food and drinking delicious drinks. She has a doctorate in cold rockin’ it.

Toshio lives in San Francisco, CA, where he writes for a green living website, DJs, barhops, bikes, and downs a couple Cup Noodles per day.
